Tailgating Games

Tailgating games are fun and easy means of spending time with friends, loved ones, colleagues or even casual acquaintances during parties and other special events. Various tailgating games are suggested, without worrying about the budget.

One common game is the Bean Bag Toss.  It is present in almost any parties, like birthdays and anniversaries. In this game, soft bean bags and handy plastic boards are needed that require a minimal effort to arrange.  Players do not need to worry about safety once they have done the game well.

Among the most enjoyable tailgating games that cannot be shaken off is form the list is cornhole, which is related to the bean bag toss. However, corn hole is an official sport with official regulations to follow. Team players alternately toss cornhole bags at an elevated area with a hole in the distant end. If one intends to join in a competition, he/she must look into the official policies from authorized groups. The usual recommended age for participating players is 13 and above.

Next is the Ladder Ball.  It may perhaps be on top of the most well-liked tailgate diversions nowadays. Yes, it is truly enjoying, convenient anywhere and trouble-free. Players may use vinyl cords weighted using lightweight plastic balls or bolos. Of course, every group of players pitches single bolo, one by one.

A score is given when the bolo holds on a ring. Points are not counted when the competitors’ bolo dangles on the same ring, or takes off the opponents’ bolo from the ring. Though this game is highly recommended for ages 13 and older, this can be only played in exterior areas.

One cannot afford to forget the Finger Football. Everybody just knows this very well. Over the years, this well-known game has eventually transformed into seemingly customized features like a game mat being designed with a team’s symbol, a small football and scoring post. This is open to all age group; hence, a lot of families enjoy doing this in their recreational activities. This can even be set up using a small adaptable table at any tailgating event.

Also part of these games is the Washer Board Game. It is played using washers, hence its name. Points are earned by firing the washers at the goal holes found on the board. The closeness   of the target is the basis for earning points. This too, can be played by any person of any age.

Whatever type of game players may opt to do, one thing is absolute – fun.
